Christmas Eve 2008

We had a great Christmas Eve Party at our home.
Because of the Snow and Ice we were happy that most
of our family could come. We are sad that Traci and her
family couldn't join us.

Jon and Julie's family as well as Chris and of course Cyndi
and Denny stayed the night, so we had the grandkids for Christmas morning.
Christmas is so fun with the little ones around.

Tag liked opening everyone's presents. He didn't care about what we got in the presents. He would rip them open for us then go to someone else's to open theirs. It was quite funny.

Snow, Snow, Snow

The snow just keeps coming down. So you can see the comparison of the snow piling up look at Denny's car on the left in the two pictures. Also look at the car across the street!
We have over 12" of snow, we have never seen so much in all the years we have lived in Oregon. I have been here since 1972.

Steven went out doors and got a picture of our home in the snow! That was two days ago, much more snow since then!

Today it snowed and snowed and snowed! Isn't it beautiful?

Steven and I, Cyndi and Denny stayed home and played a long game of monopoly that lasted about four hours! I won, yipee!

We put out christmas presents under the tree and Cyndi wanted to open them up! She can't wait until christmas! What is she teaching her new baby to be?

Denver Ballet

Denver Grossnickle, my four year old granddaughter, had her first Ballet Rehearsal for her recital yesterday December 6, 2008. She was so darling and listened so well to her teacher. It was fun seeing how well she did. She is a talented little girl. Thanks to her mom for inviting me! It was so fun! We stopped and got her an icecream cone, which she requested, after the rehearsal. Love that Denver!

Relief Society Retreat Lincoln City

On October 24 & 25th the Beavercreek Ward had a Relief Society Retreat in Lincoln City.
My daughter Cyndi, and my friends Deni Franzen and Barbara Jensen went with me.
We arrived in the afternoon. The weather was fantastic. We stayed in Michelle Young's
three story home very close to the beach. We had a great time, great food, and great
weather.

Denny & Cyndi

On October 3rd, Denny and Cyndi came to live with us.
They are a joy to have around!
We are excited also that they are expecting their first
baby, and it is a girl.
Yesterday was Denny's birthday so we had the priviledge of
celebrating it with him on his 26th birthday!
