Temple with Grandkids

I had the grandkids, Denver and Tag over to spend the night while Jon and Julie celebrated their 6th anniversary. I had a great time with them. I pulled them down the street in the little red wagon, which by they way they love. Steven and I took them to see "Wall E" which they loved also, then we let them take a short swim in the pool, which again they loved but the best part that I loved the most was taking them to see the Portland Temple. I told them to be reverent so Denver folded her arms, it didn't last too long but I am sure they felt the spirit there. We had a great time with the extended family as well as with our immediate family.

Spring Break 2008

We had a wonderful "Spring Break" with Jon and Julies family at the beach. We stayed at
Whales Rest in South Beach, Oregon. We had nothing but fun times! The grandkids had
a blast as well as the old folks! We did lots of fun stuff like Playing Games (Milne Bornes) which
Jon and Julie won by tons of points, Bowling in theTrailer, Site Seeing at three different Light Houses, visiting the Science Museum, Mini Golfing, Playing in the Hail, Walking on the Beach, Seeing Starfish, and other creatures, Laughing,
Crying, Eating, Sleeping, having Potty Accidents, and lots of other good stuff.
What a fun time with the family, the best in the whole world!

Easter Egg Hunt with Grandkids

The most exciting for the grandkids was the easter egg hunt in our big back yard. The easter bunny, Grandpa, did the hiding and the kids were so anxious to get out the door. Once out the kids ran as fast as they could and before long they had many wonderful eggs in their baskets. I think it was a toss up of who got the most eggs between Kelli and Denver. Kaleb didn't care too much about finding eggs (he found only 4), he just wanted to play out side with the kids. Tag got the hang of picking up the eggs pretty quick trying to keep up with Denver and Kelli I think.
What a fun day!

Easter Egg Coloring with Grandkids

On Saturday, March 22, 2008 We had our first annual Grandkids Easter Egg Hunt here at my home. We first colored and dyed eggs at the kitchen table. Lots of eggs got cracked while the artists were at work.

Randy, Gary & Joans Visit

We had a great week with Randy, Gary and Joan here this past week.
It all started with Randy's arrival on Saturday morning. Then Gary and Joan arrived on Sunday (they stayed with us and Randy stayed with Grandma and Grandpa) During their stay we played lots of games and ate lots of food. We hung out at our place and Grandma and Grandpas place. The games of course were the most fun, Dominoes, Golf and Six Cubes. We had lots of munchies to eat and of course had lots of laughs. Those that gathered were Steven & Shirleen, Grandma & Grandpa, Randy, Gary & Joan, Jan & Fred for most of the times. Julie and Jon and family came to visit also Traci and Kaleb.
All the old folks went out for a dinner on Wed night to McGraths including Becky and Phil. Becky had been sick all week so we didn't get to enjoy having her around but glad she felt better for the dinner.
